An undergraduate student can carry out research for academic credit. Each faculty offers credits for Level III and Level IV students conducting research, under the supervision of a faculty member.
Many of these courses are considered senior projects or senior thesis, completed by students in their final year of study. Upon completion of these courses, students will have excellent experience and preparation for the career of their choice.
Just like other research opportunities, research for academic credit allows students to:
Explore career opportunities in the research environment
Investigate and learn more about an area of interest
Gain valuable skills and experience
Develop a positive working relationship with the faculty
Each course has specific eligibility requirements, as well as evaluation criteria as set out by your faculty. For more information, please visit the respective pages.
